Guerlain Meteorites

The Guerlain brand was created 192 years ago in Paris – the home of sophistication and fashion. The truth is that Guerlain is the first perfumery in Paris – created by Pierre-Francois Pascal – on one of the most popular and lavish shopping streets in Paris – 42 Rivoli Street. The perfumery is still located on the same address, so if you are in Paris, you can visit this special perfumery and buy whatever your soul desires and pocket allows.

I finally got this Guerlain treasure as a gift from my hubby – Rudy (maybe because he just loves me :)) Actually, I’m not the type of woman who needs a lot of time for her make-up, but these Guerlain pearls are something I wanted to have on my dressing table for a long time. I use them as blush, because I chose the middle colour of the three possible colours. They are not very saturated for me, because I am not with a really white skin. Honestly, they are a little bit brighter that I expected, but they give a very natural blush to the cheeks and very fresh looks. The pearls have a delicate scent of violets (this scent of violets has been a trademark of Guerlain for almost two centuries). The packaging of the meteorites is also very special – they come in a very elegant metal box, which makes them even more sophisticated – they look like a stylish accessory. Speaking of packaging, I can’t help but mention the special series of meteorites that Guerlain puts on the market. The only difference with the classic version of the meteorites is their packaging and the price – the content inside is completely the same, but the boxes of the limited series are much more luxurious and sometimes priced at over 1 000 euros.

Every time when I wear Guerlain meteorites, I feel that I carry with me a small part of the bourgeois style of the old Paris, which creates a really special mood for me. For me, personally, this is a hit that is worth the money and that every lady should have had now or 200 years ago.
